December 2020, an iconic fixture of DBHS was removed and is now only a memory, the interior stairwell inside the 500 Building (aka D Building). These stairs served as a path between the two levels of the building for 37 years for staff members. Now the building is being modernized into our new science building, with no interior stairwell. This will allow for more classroom space on both levels.
