March 4, 2022, 60 DBHS students & staff members championed Dr. King’s legacy through the public reading of his 1963 open "Letter from Birmingham Jail".
THE OPEN LETTER PROJECT accomplished many profound lessons for our students and staff! The Project embodied the essence of collaboration, social justice, historical relevancy, and social emotional learning, to name a few!
