DBHS ROBOTICS at LA Regional Recap
First day sprocket has a slow but steady start. Near the first match, we landed in 30th place, but we powered through and were able to rank ourselves up into the 25th near the end.
We built connections with many other teams, making the event much more memorable and meaningful.
Near the beginning of day two, Sprocket was able to score some big matches, allowing us to show off our bot. This would pay off in the later run, when 1148, Harvard Westlake Robotics, the third ranking team in LA regional had Sprocket for their first pick. Our alliance was able to win the first round, with a nail biter of a tiebreaker, the winner being chosen by the autonomous points earned. The next two games we sadly lost, by a close margin of points.
