My memories are flooded with the smiles and laughs and tears of joy that came with the season. I know that there was also struggle and doubt, frustration and pain. But honestly, right now all of that seems distant. We know it’s part of the journey. There has to be sacrifice to accomplish anything of worth. It’s the hard things that we accomplish that carry the most weight. And did we accomplish. We are Back to Back league Champs. Last year we were Co-League champs. This year we went 9-1 in league, and we did not have to share the crown. In our two years in our league we had the best record. Last year we represented our league in the regional playoffs, this year we went back to the regional playoffs and made it to day 2! Those are wonderful accomplishments, for sure. But what I’m most proud of is the work and growth by all of us. That is the legacy of this team. We care for each other, we support each other, we find true joy in team success. We built forever relationships and bonds that will last long past this season. All things come to an end, that is how it works. But the impact of being a part of this team will stay with us forever. Thank you Athletes, Coaches, and families. We all share in the successes of this year. Now, say it with me one last time….. DB You Know!"
