It's always a good day to be a Brahma, and Saturday, January 11, was no exception! The DBHS Chess Club hosted the first LA County Chess league team tournament. Our two four-person teams earned 1st and 5th. The Kindness on Board Foundation started by one of our Brahma families was able to host the event here and there were 26 teams from 21 schools that competed. There were four rounds. The teams with the best win/draw/loss records won the top prizes.
