Our Track & Field team competed at the Covina Qualifier Invitational on Saturday, March 15. Here are the highlights!:
Both our Boys & Girls Distance Medley Relay (DMR) teams broke into the DB Top 10 of All Time list at 6th place with times of 11:02.19 and 13:26.35 respectively!
On the boys team was Kiran Joseph (11), Michael Acero (11), Nathan Tien (11), and Steve Mungai (12)
On the girls team was Evelyn Kim (11), Gianna Reyes (10), Ava Rodriguez (9), and Norina Joseph (9)
Gianna Reyes (10) earned 9th place on the DB Top 10 of All Time list with a time of 60.77 in the 400m
Norina Joseph (9) earned 9th place on the DB Top 10 of All Time list with a time of 12:28.29 in the 3200m
We also had several athletes/relay teams earn medals:
1st place – Boys V 4x1600m team – Logan Choi (10), Brett Green (12), William Tung (10), Ethan Hoen (12)
1st place – Girls V DMR - Evelyn Kim (11), Gianna Reyes (10), Ava Rodriguez (9), and Norina Joseph (9)

3rd place – Girls V 4x800m relay – Ava Cabrales (10), Melody Convento (9), Andrea Ghosn (9), Natalie Dai (12)
4th place – Boys F/S 3200m – David Guerra (10)
