Words from Head Water Polo Coach ALEX MATEL and Photos by WILLIAM FOLEY:<br><br>Hello Everyone,<br><br>The girlsu2019 water polo season ended Saturday, February 25, in the championship game against #1 Santa Ynez. Regulation time wasnu2019t enough for this game as we went into overtime tied 6 all. We eventually lost 8-6. Just like the boysu2019 program, this was a season of many first for the girlsu2019 program.<br><br>*Finished with a winning record u2013 26 wins and 8 losses<br>*Won their first tournament u2013 6th Annual Lady Nobles Varsity Tournament<br>*Won their own tournament the week after winning the Nogales Tournament u2013 3rd Annual Lady Brahmas Winter Classic<br>*Earned their first league victories against Ayala HS and Claremont HS<br>*Finished 3rd in league<br>*Earned their first playoff berth<br>*Earned their first playoff victory against Summit followed by victories against Don Lugo, Valley View and Chaffey<br>Congratulations to all of the water polo student-athletes!<br>Especially the following seniors:<br>Madeline St. Pierre<br>Ana Sofia Gonzales<br>Alyssa Aguayo<br><br>The future is bright as we return 16 of the 18 varsity members.
