SONNET FORMATTING (A B B A A B B A) (CDE CDE)ON HIS BLINDNESS BY MILTON

When I consider how my light is spent (a)
Ere half my days, in this dark world and wide, (b)
And that one talent which is death to hide, (b)
Lodged with me useless, though my soul more bent (a)
To serve therewith my Maker, and present (a)
My true account, lest he returning chide; (b)
"Doth God exact day-labor, light denied?" (b)
I fondly ask; but Patience to prevent (a)
That murmur, soon replies, "God doth not need (c)
Either man's work or his own gifts; who best (d)
Bear his mild yoke, they serve him best. His state (e)
Is Kingly. Thousands at his bidding speed (c)
And post o'er land and ocean without rest; (d)
They also serve who only stand and wait." (e)

To Kill A Mockingbird In Class Essay

Prompt: " 'Mockingbirds don't do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They don't eat up people's gardens, don't nest in corncribs, they don't do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. That's why it's a sin to kill a mockingbird.' Provide an example of three characters in the book who symbolize a mockingbird. Why did you choose them? Use quotes from the book as evidence. (Minimum of three quotes required)"

If your essay is not formatted correctly, I will automatically deduct five (5) points. Your heading should include you name, the class and period, and the date you turn it in. You should also have an appropriate and interesting title. When you use quotes, you must write the page number immediately after the quote: “quote” (23).
