HELP SUPPORT OUR TEXTBOOK FUND

With the California budget crisis hitting everyone hard – including education,

Diamond Bar High School is looking into different opportunities to help relieve the hit it took. The Diamond Bar High School Day at Barnes and Noble is one of these opportunities.

 

On November 21^st from 10 AM to 10PM at the Barnes and Nobles

in Chino Hills (at THE SHOPPES),

 

Diamond Bar High School will receive a percentage of every sale –

when DBHS is mentioned.

 

Some of the entertainment lined up to help with this endeavor include:

 

• The Drama department will be presenting excerpts from its current play “Dear Brutus” with performances to start at 10:30 – 11:00 – 11:30 – Noon.

 

• The Choir will be performing outside the store at

12:30 – Jamie Beeman

1:00 -- Solitaire

1:30 –   Girls Trio

 

• Ms. Chai’s Chinese classes will be performing inside the store at

               2:00 – Chinese instrumentals

               2:15 – Chinese skits

 

• The Dancers (Male, Female, and Co-ed Groups) will perform from 3:00 - 3:30  

                    outside the store. 

 

• The Orchestra will be performing inside the store at: 

                    4:00 – 5:00  String Quartet

                    5:00 – 6:00  Guitar Ensemble

                    6:00 – 7:00  String Quartet

                    7:00 – 8:00  Piano Music

 

• Our Kids – To – Kids Club will be holding “Storytime”  all day at the Children’s Stage Area

 

• USB will be gift wrapping for “donations”.

THE SHOPPES is also having its “Tree Lighting” ceremony that evening at 7PM. 

So, the whole day is shaping up to be a great day to . . .

           

“Come sip a latte in the café while listening to music by our music department or watch our drama department perform their current play

while staff waiters serve dessert.”

 

 All this, while helping Diamond Bar High School obtain resources to have every student succeed.
