Back-To-School Night

Please join us in celebrating our 2011-2012 DBHS Back to School Night on Thursday, September 15.  This exciting evening offers you the opportunity to experience your child’s school day, meet their teachers, and learn more about the Brahma community.

The Back to School activities will begin in your child’s first period class at 7:15 p.m. If your child has a zero period, please report to that classroom at 7:00 p.m.  Be sure to arrive early to secure a parking spot. During the evening, teachers will provide an overview of course curriculum and classroom expectations.

Prior to the 7:00 p.m. start of Back to School Night, a few special meetings will be held. The ELD/SDAIE parents will meet at 6:30 p.m. in room 249.  The Pathways Communication Academy will meet at 6:00pm in room 280.  The Food Services Department will be holding tours of the kitchen facilities and will have delicious BBQ for sale, from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  Any parents that need assistance with accessing the Parent Portal can visit Mr. Randy Thomas in the LINC from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Please download a copy of the Back to School Night parent letter below this message or pick up a copy in the school’s front office.  Have your student fill in their class schedule in the area provided at the bottom of this letter, so that you can follow it for the classroom visits. For your convenience, maps will be provided at the front gate.
