Diamond Bar High School is excited to announce that it will be hosting an evening for parents with Tyler Durman on Wednesday, January 18th, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:15 pm in our theater. The presentation is titled, “ YIKES! A Teenager Lives in My House! ”

Tyler Durman is an international inspirational and motivational speaker heard by hundreds of thousands annually. He is a father of two who have just made it past the teen years, a former high school teacher and the author of Bite Sized Wisdom for Parents.

Do you want to understand your teens and their world? What do you need to know about your teens (and their friends)? What can you do to avoid teen trouble? What do you do if you think your teen needs help? How do you give them space and guidance at the same time?

One of America’s top speakers on teen issues, Tyler will address the myths and ideals of parenting today’s teens and pre-teens. He will provide important tips and tools to help parents communicate and connect with their children, guide them to make the right choices, and prepare them to be successful adults.

Tyler Durman will conduct a powerful and hilarious session with parents and community members that is open to the public with free admission in the Diamond Bar High School theater from 7:00 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18 th , 2012. It will be the fastest 75 minutes of your month. You will laugh a lot and walk away with some very practical answers. All parents (even those with younger children) are welcome. It’s never too early to be prepared and never too late to start!
