Diamond Bar High School, in conjunction with the FBI and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department is presenting an Internet safety workshop for parents and students on Wednesday, August 29 th, from 7:00-9:00 pm.
Join us as we receive first-hand information on how to keep our kids safe on the Internet. The workshop will be presented by Detective Bernie Trapp of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department and the FBI SAFE Team.
The presentation covers discussion of how to deal with:
On-line predators
Cyber bullying
How to avoid revealing too much information online
Chat room dangers
Cell phone dangers
Gaming site dangers
Texting/sexting
Social networks like Facebook
Webcams and webcam sites
There will be separate presentations for parents and students. This separation will be strictly observed so please make arrangements accordingly. No students/young children will have access to the parent presentation and must report to the student presentation in the gym.

*Theater capacity is 430 people. Please arrive on time as we will be unable to accommodate more than 430 parents.
