Back-To-School Night

Dear Brahma Parents,

Please join us in celebrating our 2012-2013 DBHS Back to School Night.  This exciting evening offers you the opportunity to experience your child’s school day, meet our teachers, and learn more about the Brahma community.

Date:      Thursday, September 13th, 2012

Time:     7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Place:    Diamond Bar High School

The school-wide Back to School activities will begin in your child’s first period class promptly at 7:15pm. If your child has a zero period, please report to that classroom at 7:00pm.  Be sure to arrive early to secure a parking spot. During the evening, teachers will provide an overview of course curriculum and classroom expectations.  During an extended 4^th period, we will broadcast a student-produced video highlighting the various aspects of Diamond Bar High School on our closed-circuit television system.

Please have your student complete the schedule at the bottom of this letter so that you can follow it for the classroom visits. Please bring the completed schedule with you to Back to School Night. For your convenience, maps will be provided at the front gate.

Just prior to the 7:00pm start of Back to School Night, two special meetings will be held. The ELD/SDAIE parents will meet at 6:30 p.m. in room 249. The Pathways parents will meet at 6:00pm in room 280.  Please note: PE classes will meet in the gym. 

We look forward to welcoming you on Thursday evening. Our 2012-2013 school year promises to be an exciting one!
