FRESHMEN: AP European History Apps Due

Freshmen,

    My name is Mrs. Clark. I am the AP European History teacher at DBHS. As GLCs begin visiting classes in preparation for next year, I wanted to let you know about this course option for sophomores to fulfill their World History requirement. AP European History is a college level class, and it is one of the first AP classes offered to students. The class focuses on developing reading, writing, and critical thinking skills in preparation for later AP and college coursework, and prepares students to take the AP European History exam offered in May. If students have not yet taken World History, this will fulfill their history requirement. Students who have already taken World History are also encouraged to take AP Euro as an elective class, especially if the student is Pre-IB.

All students interested in applying for AP European History can download the application posted below. Applications are due by March 1st, and no late applications will be accepted. Applications can be turned in to the envelope outside room 145 or in person to Mrs. Clark.
