Teens between the ages of 13 and 15 interested in being considered for the City of Diamond Bar’s annual Volunteen Program have until Thursday, April 18, 2013 to submit their application to City Hall.

Applicants who best meet the program requirements will be invited to an interview during the third week in May.

To be eligible to participate in the Volunteen Program, students must be able to work June 4 through August 17 for a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 40 hours per week.

This popular teen volunteer leadership program is offered every summer and provides its participants ages 13 to 15 the opportunity to learn about the workings of the recreation division of local government.

Volunteens will be assigned as aides to City summer programs such as pre-school, day camp, youth sports, senior programming, and Concerts in the Park.
