Dear Freshmen Parents:

Please join the Diamond Bar High School’s Pathways Communications Academy staff on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, for our Freshmen Parent Informational meeting. The meeting will be held at Diamond Bar High School, in the Golden Horseshoe at 6:00 p.m.

Pathways Communications Academy is one of nearly 500 California Partnership Academies and is celebrating its 17^th year. The Academy is structured as a school-within-a-school and offers smaller class sizes, block scheduling, more individualized attention, college prep courses, career technical electives, educational field trips, and more. Each year the Academy admits 50-55 freshmen that begin the program their sophomore year.

All interested freshmen should complete an application. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, February 13, 2015. In addition, since the Academy can only admit 50-55 students annually, we ask each applicant to participate in an informal interview to determine program suitability. Interviews are scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2015.
