Our school has been selected by the Asian Union Election Committee Education Fund (AUECEF) to participate in a youth empowerment program, which includes leadership training and internship opportunities for juniors and seniors.
AUECEF is a non-profit organization that seeks to empower the next generation of Asian Pacific American leaders to take active roles in government and public service.
Twenty-five admitted students will participate in a five-week program during the summer. After completion of the program, 5 students will receive an opportunity to intern for an elected official on the federal, state, or local level.
If you're interested in this wonderful opportunity, stop by the library on Friday, February 6, at 1 pm (5th period) in the library to learn more about the program and how to apply!
