Not sure about college? Worried about the cost? Not sure how you’ll manage on a
large campus? Come listen to a panel of college students and alumni talk about their
experiences at a community college.
‐ Didn’t get into your dream school? Starting at the community college can almost
guarantee your admission to your choice of colleges and universities.
‐ Are financial concerns getting in the way of you going to schools you had hoped to
attend? Community college can help save you thousands of dollars towards your
education.
‐ Weren’t on the college track in high school? You can still attend community
college and transfer to a four-year school.
‐ Top of your class and feel as though you worked too hard to go to the community
college? Community colleges offer Honors programs for their best and brightest
students. Honors classes are smaller and students who participate in the program
transfer to some of the most highly ranked colleges and universities.
‐ Haven’t decided on a major? At the community college, students can take a
variety of general courses to find their area of interest.
We encourage junior and senior students and parents to come hear what these
individuals have to say on Thursday December 1st at 6 PM in the LINC. (GLCs)
