The Walnut Valley Unified School District is excited to host our Parent Symposium at Walnut High School on Saturday, September 28th, from 8:30 AM-12:00 PM. Childcare will be provided for children in grades TK through 5.
Our keynote speaker is Maureen Healy, award winning author and leader in the field of children’s emotional health. After the keynote, there will be two breakout sessions presented by WVUSD staff members. The first break out session is from 10:10-11:00 AM and the second one is from 11:10 AM- 12:00 PM. We look forward to seeing you at this great event where teachers, specialists, and parents come together to meet the needs of all students!
The first 150 parents that register and attend will receive a copy of Maureen Healy’s book, The Emotionally Healthy Child. We will have a book signing and food trucks available from 12-1:00 pm!
