17th annual Doppelgänger Student Film Festival 3/13

Diamond Bar High School is proud to announce the upcoming 17th annual Doppelgänger Student Film Festival, set to take place on Marth 13th, 2026, 6:00PM at the school's theater. This esteemed event has become a cornerstone of the school's cultural calendar, celebrating the creativity and cinematic talents of its students.

The Doppelgänger Film Festival has a rich history of showcasing exceptional student films across various genres. In 2025, the festival featured remarkable works such as "The F Word" by Nataly Sun, winner of the Eye Opener, "Datura Yellow" by Symms Chang, winner of Animation, and "Student Driver" by Troy Pisigan, winner of Short Film.

The 2022 festival marked the introduction of an animation category, highlighting the school's commitment to embracing diverse storytelling mediums. This year's festival promises to continue this tradition, providing a platform for students to present their films to an enthusiastic audience. The event not only showcases the artistic talents of the students but also fosters a sense of community and shared appreciation for the arts.

The Doppelgänger Student Film Festival is excited to continue the new Advertisement category, inviting students to showcase their creativity and marketing skills by producing engaging commercials or public service announcements. This provides a fresh platform for aspiring filmmakers to demonstrate their ability to craft persuasive and impactful visual messages.
