Dear Parents & Students,

As you know, the state of California and education has been going through difficult financial times.  In order to address some of these financial challenges, the teachers and staff of the Walnut Valley School District agreed to two furlough days.  As communicated in my message to you on February 20, Friday, March 15, and Monday, April 8, there will be no school. 

Additionally, part of the agreement involved repealing our Open House and minimum day originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 26, and Thursday, March 28. 

Please be sure to mark your calendars with the following date changes:

Tuesday, March 26, open house: canceled

Thursday, March 28, minimum day: now a regular school day, 8:01 am – 3:00 pm
