Saturday, April 14, our DBHS Engineering team (Kallista Tantiga, Sandra Li, and Arron Ku) placed 4th out of 17 schools in the 2018 Chevron Engineering Design Challenge (a PLTW engineering competition) at El Camino College. Students were given a real world problem in the morning and spent the next 7 hours, designing, sketching, 3D modeling, animating, and presenting a solution to a judging panel made up of engineers.
