Team Sprocket | 2022 Beach Blitz Recap
The historic Rose Bowl opened its doors Monday, November 21, 2022, to members of the high school football teams that will compete in the CIF Southern Section championships on Friday and Saturday. Monday’s event, held in the UCLA locker room, included players for all 28 teams in the 11-man finals, plus teams from the two eight-man championships.
The San Gabriel Valley was well represented at the luncheon with six teams — Diamond Bar, Muir, St. Francis, San Gabriel, Walnut and Whittier Christian — that will participate in finals, three on Friday and three on Saturday.
