Video #1: "Post High School Options-What Are The Paths I Can Follow Upon High School Graduation". A message from Class of 2021 GLC's Mr. Patterson and Mrs. Duenas. This is the 1st of a 5 part COLLEGE & CAREER series that they are producing.
During the next 2 weeks, your Class of 2021 Grade Level Coordinators will be presenting a COLLEGE AND CAREER Video Message Series beginning with Video Message #1. Since we are not able to meet in person, it is even more important for students and parents to take “ownership and responsibility” in educating themselves on the COLLEGE AND CAREER preparation process. We believe that these Video Messages will be very helpful and provide detailed instructions on each of the Topics. After each Video Message is published, we will post it to the Class of 2021 Webpage along with accompanying PowerPoints and supporting Documents. Please enjoy and please “own” this and educate yourself on this exciting journey we are about to start…Your future College and/or Career Planning.

Congratualtions to engineering teacher Johnny Hwang who was announced as Diamond Bar High's TEACHER OF THE YEAR Friday, April 27. The announcement was made at the annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon hosted by our seven parent organizations. Mr. Hwang was chosen by his peers to represent them.
He has been a dedicated educator for 20 years. His commitment to excellence shows in the quality of his students’ work. His engineering program is thriving due to his superior teaching skills and rapport with students. This year, DBHS received recognition as a “PLTW Distinguished School” in the area of achievement. Mr. Hwang is our only PLTW teacher. He teaches all four levels of the PLTW Engineering program, in addition to robotics and AP Biology. He is always prepared to deliver high-quality and engaging lessons to his students. He is just an awesome teacher! Congratulations!
