Tuesday, November 28, our Diamond Bar High School Wellness Center hosted its first TEDx event. TEDx events are produced independently of TED conferences, each event curates speakers on their own, but based on TED's format and rules. Sixty-five DBHS students auditioned before a panel of staff members. Nineteen were chosen as speakers who who shared their ideas with English classes in our theater. Congratulations and thank you to Korean language teacher HYUNIN LEE who is retiring after 13 years of teaching at Diamond Bar High School. While at DBHS, she also served as an Algebra I teacher for a few years. Wednesday, May 15, 2019, the WVUSD Board of Trustees recognized her and other retirees for their years of service.

After a long weekend of broken parts and design flaws to overcome, Team Sprocket brought a prestigious “Blue Banner” home to DBHS. Team Sprocket is the 2018 FRC Orange County Regional Winner!!! They are now invited to attend the FRC World Championships which will take place in April 2018 in Houston, Texas. This video presents images of their season so far. Go Brahmas!
This year, eight of our DBHS staff members are retiring after many years of service to our school and our district. Wednesday, May 20, the Walnut Valley Unified School District recognized all of its retiring employees. This is an edited version of the district's video, highlighting staff members retiring from our school. We would like to thank the following retirees for their service to our school: Pei-Ying Chai, Sandra Davis, Coleen Gee, Nancy Horton, Avin Lin, Kent Neil, Sheryle Pillars and Daniel Roubian.
