Spring Play 2015-- Rehearsal. Kathy Zambrano as Little Red and Daniel Durkee as The Baker
Uploaded Feb 24, 2016 to Theatre ArtsL'Mio Edwards, a recent Chaparral Middle School graduate and a soon-to-be Diamond Bar High Brahma, is running more than three miles every day to raise money for families hit hard by the Corona virus, and her father drives alongside her every night to keep her safe.
It's hard to keep up with 14-year-old L'Mio Edwards. She’s a straight A student, a nationally-ranked track star, and fiercely fast fundraiser.
"I’ve been running since around third grade," she said. "After running for so long I thought I might use it for something if I’m going to be stuck at home."
The soon to be Diamond Bar High School freshman is running 5K, every day, for 30 days, to raise money for families in need during coronavirus, and her father drives by her side on every run.

Uploaded Nov 12, 2019FLASHBACK: January 24, 1999, Diamond Bar High School held an event to say thank you and goodbye to its first activities director, Dale Favier. This video shows the opening skit performed by members of the large Buccola family, all of them Brahmas and children of retired DBHS Spanish language teacher Christine Buccola. In the video, you will see them impersonating staff members Dale Favier, Janet Roberts, Howard Alcosser, Bruce McNeil, Terry Roche, Diane Tobar, Steve Salmons, David Hong, Brenda Henson, Harrison Lindsey, Rick Valencia, Judy Dunbridge and Bruce Dunbridge.
After having traveled from North Monterey County with Principal Walter Holmes to open DBHS in 1982, Dale Favier helped establish many of the traditions that last until today. He was our first activities director, first yearbook advisor, first student store manager and the source of its nickname, "Fave's Place". We were saddened by his passing in April of 2014.
Happy Wellness Wednesday!
It’s the new year; time to learn some new moves.
