Tuesday, November 28, our Diamond Bar High School Wellness Center hosted its first TEDx event. TEDx events are produced independently of TED conferences, each event curates speakers on their own, but based on TED's format and rules. Sixty-five DBHS students auditioned before a panel of staff members. Nineteen were chosen as speakers who shared their ideas with English classes in our theater.
Uploaded Dec 03, 2017Wednesday, November 28, The Wellness Center’s TED-inspired talks returned to the Diamond Bar High School stage after last year’s teacher attendees were in total agreement that the event should continue.
Approximately 80 students auditioned and 18 were selected to express their personal message on mental wellness. In the upcoming days, each of the talks presented that day will be posted on Facebook, YouTube and dbhs.org.
