Tuesday, November 28, our Diamond Bar High School Wellness Center hosted its first TEDx event. TEDx events are produced independently of TED conferences, each event curates speakers on their own, but based on TED's format and rules. Sixty-five DBHS students auditioned before a panel of staff members. Nineteen were chosen as speakers who shared their ideas with English classes in our theater.

Thursday, November 16, students in our Commercial Music Class hosted the Winter Commercial Music Showcase in our theater. They featured the music of Bob Marley, Bruno Mars, John Mayer, Jimi Hendrix, Metallica, Skypark, Keane, Jesse McCartney, Alan Parsons, Arctic Monkeys, Fleetwood Mac, Selena and more! This week was STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK at Diamond Bar High School. Our UNITED STUDENT BODY showed their appreciation throughout the week. Monday, our staff was treated to donuts and Starbucks coffee. Tuesday, they were given care packages. Wednesday, they were pampered with massages provided by Massage Envy. Thursday, they were treated to a catered lunch where they viewed this video.

Saturday, November 4, 2017, our DBHS Thundering Herd competed in the Chino Invitational Band Review. They did a great job and were runner-ups in the competition, as they were last year. Twenty-eight other high school bands competed. Next week they compete in Chula Vista. Go Brahmas!
