  Monday, May 9, 2022, 480 Brahmas took the AP Calculus exam. They started their day with breakfast in our amphitheater. Before the students left for their test areas, all of the AP Calculus teachers led them in the FIVE SPELL OUT with Mrs. Latitia Thomas at the microphone. FIVE is the top possible score on the exam. The other AP Calculus teachers are Michelle Hansen, Jimmy Kuo, Brian Wiencek and Jeff Brose. This will be Mr. Brose's last FIVE spell out because he will be retiring at the end of this year. NOTE: 1 out of every 5 Brahmas took this exam on this day! #brahmabuilt

  After a year without competitions during the COVID shutdown, our Thundering Herd returned to win all four competitions it entered, the Placentia Band Review, the Loara Band Review, the Martin Luther King Band Review and the culminating competition of the marching band season, the Arcadia Festival of Bands.

  Thank you to our community for passing Measure WV which is funding many modernization projects throughout our Walnut Valley Unified School District, including the modernization of our science classrooms in the existing 500 Building and the construction of a new instrumental music building. The new science classrooms are scheduled to open in the Fall of 2021. We are excited to share this virtual walkthrough!
