Class of 2021 Students and Parents:
Today, we are sending you Video Message #5 of our COLLEGE AND CAREER Video Message Series. Video Message #5 focuses on “Letters of Recommendations and Senior Profile Packet”. This is the last Video Message in our College and Career Video Message Series.
Since we are not able to meet in person, it is even more important for students and parents to take “ownership and responsibility” in educating themselves on the COLLEGE AND CAREER preparation process. We believe that these Video Messages will be very helpful and provide detailed instructions on each of the Topics.
After each Video Message is published, we will post it to the Class of 2021 Webpage along with accompanying PowerPoints and supporting Documents.
Please enjoy and please “own” this and educate yourself on this exciting journey we are about to start…Your future College and/or Career Planning.

Starbucks Mock Interview Event
November 18, managers from Starbucks conducted small group interviews with the Diamond Bar students to help them improve their job interview skills. This opportunity was designed and coordinated by DBHS teacher Sally Jarvis.
Tuesday, November 28, our Diamond Bar High School Wellness Center hosted its first TEDx event. TEDx events are produced independently of TED conferences, each event curates speakers on their own, but based on TED's format and rules. Sixty-five DBHS students auditioned before a panel of staff members. Nineteen were chosen as speakers who shared their ideas with English classes in our theater.
