DBHS's TEAM SPROCKET

Summer Engineering Academy - 2026
For Students in Grades 6 - 8 on the DBHS campus
The program will be led by DBHS CADD Instructor, Ms. An Tran, Mr. Matt Castaneda, and Team Sprocket mentors & Members
Students will explore multiple Engineering Concepts, including:
Robotic Design, Manufacturing & Programming
3D Printing
Graphic Design
T-Shirt Printing & Embroidery
Digital Electronics, Laser Cutting & Engraving
Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD)
Space is limited to 30 students (based on completion of application, including submission of registration payment).
Cost: $900 - All proceeds from this program support TEAM SPROCKET's upcoming competition season, and includes the cost for materials such as T-shirts, sticker vinyl, acrylic, wood & 3D printer filament, which students will use to create take-home items.
Classes will be held from 8am - 1:00pm over the course of 5 weeks:
Week1 June 16-18
Week2 June 23 - June 26
Week3 June 30 - July 3
Week4 July 7 - 10
Week5 July 14 - July 17
