City of Diamond Bar’s second annual “Diamond Bar Through My Lens” community photo contest culminated earlier this week with the awarding of certificates and prizes to first and second place winners. More than 200 photos were entered into the contest, surpassing last year’s number of entries by 50.
All 14 winners were invited to attend the December 15 City Council meeting for some well-deserved kudos. Friends and family members were on hand at the meeting to share in the occasion as each of the award recipients was presented with a certificate from City Council and a representative from our local Assemblyman's office, as well as a cash prize, courtesy of the Diamond Bar Community Foundation.
The winning entries will be featured throughout the coming year in a number of the City’s promotional means, including the City channel, website and the 2010 Calendar and Services Guide.
