BRAHMAS COMPETE IN NASA JPL INVENTION CHALLENGE

Nov 23rd at Costa Mesa High School, students from the Brahma Tech Engineering and Team Sprocket robotics programs competed against 25 other Orange County teams in the 24th Annual NASA JPL INVENTION CHALLENGE. Students were tasked to build something that could automatically launch randomly sized peanut M&M's over a barrier and at a target over 5 meters away. Students used their knowledge in electronics, mechatronics, and 3d printing to build their launching devices. The two teams finished 6th and 11th which qualified them for the finals to be held on the NASA JPL campus in La Cañada Flintridge on July 6th.
