On Friday, Saturday and Sunday members of the community came out to Diamond Bar High School in droves for rides, games, food and fun.

The school was holding its first multicultural carnival, which featured rides like the Zipper and swings and booths manned by DBHS clubs and teams. At one booth, participants paid $2 for five ping pong balls, and when one landed in a bowl, the winner received a fish; at another, a prize was given when a basketball made it through the hoop. Typical fair food, like deep fried Twinkies and cotton candy, was available for purchase.

The event was sponsored by DBHS and the Hispanic Organization of Parents for Education (HOPE).
