Every year, the environmental science classes of Diamond Bar High School are tasked with taking a step towards environmental sustainability. Low Flow Co. seeks to contribute to a more sustainable planet by replacing the old, wasteful toilets at DBHS with water-efficient, dual flush toilets.
What goes on in the bathroom is not something anyone likes to discuss, but there is one topic that simply cannot be ignored any longer. Much of Diamond Bar High School's profligate infrastructure is decades old and is in dire need of development. Low Flow Co. is dedicated to creating a cleaner, more convenient, and ultimately, a more sustainable school environment.
To implement our goals, Low Flow Co. has installed dual flush toilet systems in multiple Diamond Bar High School restrooms. For "Number One," students will flush up. For "Number Two," students will flush down. This dual system and other water conservation functions enable these modern toilets to use significantly lesser water per flush than the old installations.
The Low Flow Co. project teaches the students at Diamond Bar High School, and beyond, that change is not restricted to adult actions, that students can make meaningful change, and that dedicated resolve for change is boundlessly profound.
