Hello Brahma Parents and Guardians, 

   

Welcome to week 21.

I hope everyone had a good three-day weekend and was able to take time to celebrate and reflect on the life and impact of one of our American heroes, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Last week, at our Bi-Annual Pathways Academy Awards, we celebrated students enrolled in our Pathways Academy for their academic achievement. Special thanks to our Pathways teachers and Pathways Coordinator, Mrs. Julie Salas, for supporting our students’ achievements. Sixty-three percent (63%) of our students enrolled in Pathways finished the first semester with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Please join me in congratulating the following students:

Important Updates from our GLCs and the Guidance Office

 

Dear Brahmas, Summer School 2019 information will be available in early February. Please check www.dbhs.org in a few weeks for registration information and our summer school schedule. If your student must attend summer session, he/she should consult with their GLC during the first couple weeks of February.

 

Week 21: Activities & Updates

  • AP Fee Reductions: The AP Fee reduction forms are available outside the office of Instructional Dean, Mrs.Nicole Cabase, room 424. The deadline for form submission is February 21, 2019. This is a mandatory deadline for our May 2019 AP exams and there are no exceptions.

 

  • During the holiday break, our sports teams were very active in athletic competition. Click HERE for this week’s Athletic update from Athletic Director, Albert Lim.
