Diamond Bar High School is proud to announce the upcoming 16th annual Doppelgänger Student Film Festival, set to take place on Friday, March 14th, 2025, 6:00PM at the school's theater. This esteemed event has become a cornerstone of the school's cultural calendar, celebrating the creativity and cinematic talents of its students.
The Doppelgänger Film Festival has a rich history of showcasing exceptional student films across various genres. In 2024, the festival featured remarkable works such as "Katipunan" by Troy Pisigan, which won the eye opener category and "The Day I Fell In Love" by Eva Yu, which won the short film category.
The 2022 festival marked the introduction of an animation category, highlighting the school's commitment to embracing diverse storytelling mediums.
This year's festival promises to continue this tradition, providing a platform for students to present their films to an enthusiastic audience. The event not only showcases the artistic talents of the students but also fosters a sense of community and shared appreciation for the arts.
With that, the Doppelgänger Student Film Festival is excited to introduce the new Advertisement category, inviting students to showcase their creativity and marketing skills by producing engaging commercials or public service announcements. This addition provides a fresh platform for aspiring filmmakers to demonstrate their ability to craft persuasive and impactful visual messages.
All DBHS students are welcome to enter. For more information on submission guidelines, deadlines, and event details, please visit the Brahma Cinematics Linktree page.
We look forward to celebrating the cinematic achievements of our students at this year's festival.
