It’s that time of year again! Please join us at our annual Calendar Signing Party on Thursday, March 8, at 3:15pm in the Chuckwagon.

Want to sign up for a food fair? A holiday gram? Need to get your club’s meeting dates on the school calendar for next year? If so, this is the event for you. Here is what you need to know…

Important Info to Know!

3:15 pm / Chuckwagon

*2 people per organization may attend – Advisor(s) not included

       (unlimited advisors may be present)

*Lottery system will be used to determine which organization will be able to choose first, second and so on.

*Print your organizations name on a 3”x5” card (it will be provided at the party) and drop it into the lottery bowl immediately after school.

*The lottery will begin at 3:30 sharp. Refreshments will be served.

*When your organization is drawn from the lottery bowl, the following steps should be followed:

1.     Within 1 minute…review the calendar

2.    Within 2 minutes choose where you would like to put the event.

*After your event has been chosen, your organizations card will be put back into the lottery bowl. There are no limits to how many rounds your organization can go through. Please do not put your card back into the bowl if you are done selecting dates from the calendar.

*It is a good idea to have a list of non-food calendar ideas before you come to the party.

Calendar…

Organizations with traditional dates will have some of those dates already on the calendar. (Example – Meeting dates, homecoming, Prom, etc.)

*Forms –

Please be ready to fill out activity request forms and revenue potential sheets at the calendar signing party. Your event will not be placed on the calendar if you do not return both forms before you leave the party.

*It is a great idea to bring a list of all your club, organization, or team activities so they can also be put on the calendar. For example, if you want to have your club meeting the third Tuesday of each month at lunch in “whatever” room that information can be put on the calendar NOW so it will be printed in your planners and more students can attend your event. If you give a printed copy of this list to Mrs. Norys she will put it on the calendar for you after the signing party.
