Saturday, January 18, 2020, Diamond Bar High School Science Olympiad Team competed at the 2020 Mesa-Wilson Invitational competition. Out of 40 teams, they placed FIRST overall. The team competed in 23 events, encompassing a diverse range of scientific studies, finishing in the top 6 in 16 of the events. Thank you to club adviser Mrs. Daza for transporting them to the competition, as well as Mrs. Sivaraman as well as team alternates Jeffrey Chen and Darren Fang for helping proctor and grade tests. The team’s next competition will be on February 22, at Rio Hondo College for the LA Regional Competition.
