Freshman David Yang, sophomore Evelyn Chao and senior Benjamin Lin competed in the final round of the Southern California Math Olympiad. David was in the Grand Challange and placed 2nd. Evelyn and Ben were in the team competition. Their teams placed 4th and 2nd respectively.  Originally, we had about 10 students in Round 1 in late October 2009. These three students went on to compete in the final round on Sunday, December 6.
