Fifteen Diamond Bar High School instrumental music students have received
the honor of being selected as a member of the All-State High School
Honor Band and will perform in the formal All-State High School Honor
Band concerts on Saturday, February 20, and Sunday, February 21, at the
Saroyan Theater in Fresno. The musicians will play in one of five honor
groups including four concert bands and one jazz band. This is an
individual award with the students being selected by recorded audition
from a total of over 1,500 applicants throughout the state of California.
Diamond Bar High School Band Director Steve Acciani has been doing a lot
on behalf of his band students and our students are the beneficiaries.
