Brahma tennis played a great match Thursday, March 25, against Valencia. Both teams were closely matched. Extreme shots, intense attitudes, great sportsmanship and a lot of sweat highlighted the day. In the end, the Tigers prevailed, 10 - 8. Although the set scores were close, our team found itself in a deep "0-6" hole after the first round! Four of the first six sets were settled by one service break. But the critical points went to Valencia. Diamond Bar responded with a 3-3 second round finish but still was in need of a complete sweep of the third round just to bring the match to a 9-9 tie. The Tigers got the 10th point they needed early in the third round to seal the win; a great win for Valencia and a valuable learning experience for our Brahma tennis team.
