The badminton team remained undefeated as it crushed La Quinta 15-6 in their semi-final match Thursday, May 6. Leading the way was Ryan Sin and Narita Chuenklung as they won four points each for the team. Ryan destroyed both singles players with scores of 11-1, 11-0 vs the #1 player (who had beaten him in a tournament earlier this season) and 11-0; 11-0.
Pedro Chang was equally destructive in girls singles winning with scores of 11-1, 11-0 and 11-0, 11-0.
Other strong performances were made by Luke Chiang and Alvin Ma in boys doubles. They defeated two teams that were undefeated on the season.
Samantha Li won three of her four points, fighting through an injury to do so.
Bonnie Chan easily defeated both of her girls singles opponents.
The Brahmas will play Mark Keppel Saturday, May 8,in the CIF championship. The match will be held at Azusa High School at 5:00 p.m.
