Greetings Class of 2021 Students and Parents,

MTSAC COMMUNITY COLLEGE “VIRTUAL HELP CENTER”

Every Tuesday, March 23 through June 29, 2021 the MTSAC HS Outreach Department invites all MTSAC bound High School seniors to join the “Virtual Help Center”. If you have questions about the MTSAC summer programs, Promise Plus, Admissions, Enrollment, Financial Aid etc. MTSAC is available to answer your questions. GREAT OPPORTUNITY. GLC-GRADE LEVEL COORDINATOR AND PARENTS VIRTUAL OFFICE HOURS:

Mr. Patterson and Mrs. Duenas will continue with their monthly Parent Virtual Office Hours. The first Wednesday evening of each month, your GLCs will conduct Zoom Office Hours for parents from 8:00-9:00 pm. See the Class of 2021 Webpage for the Zoom Link or see link below. Office Hour Dates:

ADDITIONAL CLASS OF 2021 GLC STUDENT OFFICE HOURS ANNOUNCED:

In addition to Mr. Patterson and Mrs. Duenas continuing their availability Monday through Thursday (1:30-2:30 pm) via the Google CHAT process, we will hold an hour-long GLC Virtual Office Hour for our Senior Students in April and May. From 1:30-2:30 pm on the Wednesday’s below, we will be available via ZOOM for students to stop in and chat, ask questions etc. Zoom Link is posted on the DBHS Class of 2021 Webpage and also below.

Saturday, March 27, 2021: Senior Sunset Activity-On Campus. This event has been approved by the WVUSD.
Friday, April 23, 2021: Senior Replay. This event has been approved by WVUSD.
Fundraising Events for Class of 2021-Details will be shared by Activities Director, Janna Van Horn. Portions of purchases will go towards senior activities and graduation activities.
- Nekter in the Walmart Shopping Center. Visit Nekter on Thursday, March 25th
- Panera: March 29 4:00-8:00 pm

PACIFICSTEM Online Event-March 27, 2021

Featuring speakers from JPL, CrowdStrike, Fluxergy, and others to share their experiences in STEM and how they got into their professional careers. They’ll also be holding a Women In STEM panel meant to inspire female students.

UC Events for Admitted Freshman

Admitted students will have a range of options to engage with campuses this spring. Campuses are planning multiple virtual events beginning in late March and continuing throughout April. Events may include (but are not limited to) presentations on financial aid and scholarships, choosing a major, student organizations, support resources, and housing. The date ranges are provided below along with the link for more information on the events.

UC Berkeley: April 3, Cal Week: April 24 —30
UC Davis: March 30 — April 3
UC Irvine: March 26 — April 17
UCLA: April 5 —16
UC Merced: March 9 — April 24
UC Riverside: April 5 — 7
UC San Diego: April 10, with other events continuing throughout April
UC Santa Barbara: March 22 — 25 and April 26 — 30
UC Santa Cruz: March 20 — April 10
