Congratulations to DBHS chemistry teacher Jennifer Bravo who completed her first FULL Ironman Competition Sunday, November 21, 2021. This Ironman triathlon was held in Arizona and included a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run. Her overall finish time, including her transitions, was 15:15:39.

BRAVO - "This was my first full Ironman. I had a great time, except for the loops of the bike course that were 17 miles of incline into a 15-20 mph sustained headwind three times! My husband also did this Ironman with me, and this was his 4th full Ironman. (He is bib #1725, just behind me in the picture) I have always volunteered and supported him and done some training with him, so this time I decided to do it as well. It was a great experience!"
