Samuel’s Eagle project was the transformation of a sandbox into a planter for kids to use at St. Matthews United Methodist Church in Hacienda Heights. He removed the old wood on the top of the old sandbox and replaced it with new material. He also replaced the sand inside the box with planter material. In addition, he trimmed hedges and planted grass in empty patches.
