Walnut Valley Schools to participate in new national campaign during the week of January 24-28.
Over forty partner organizations have launched a national “No Name Calling Week” in order to focus national attention on the problem of name-calling in schools.
This project provides students and educators with tools and inspiration to launch an ongoing dialogue about ways to eliminate name-calling in our community.
In Walnut Valley Unified School District, we have committed to address this during the designated week, January 24th through January 28th.
We also plan on including information on the district’s website, www.wvusd.k12.ca.us that can help guide our parents with communication tools to help their children respond to this type of bullying.
More information about the organization of this national week can be found at www.nonamecallingweek.org.
