Congratulations to Academy oboist David Kwon and pianist/flutist Joseph Yoo on advancing to the semifinals of the Music Center's Spotlight Awards! They are among the 13 semifinalists selected throughout Southern California in the Classical Instrumental Category.

Both David and Joseph went through a rigorous selection process consisting of two preliminary rounds. They will be participating in masterclasses hosted by the Music Center this weekend and will be competing in the semifinals next week.
