Thursday, April 27, 2023, 3-time Brahma parent Tileu Ngoe (Chang) was recognized by DBHS at the Walnut Valley Educational Foundation Gala because of her willingness to accept the leadership role of President of our Brahma Boosters.

Our Brahma Boosters are committed to school-wide fundraising. As President, she coordinates, organizes, and leads the Brahma Boosters, spearheading innovative fundraising activities to support our school. Most notably, our Clothing Drives, which is a new fundraising activity that has benefited numerous clubs with over $10,000 worth of donations.

In addition, Mrs. Chang oversees a monthly Brahma Booster meeting, where staff present various school projects and she works with Booster Members and parent volunteers to help collect donations. As President, Mrs. Chang has helped secure approximately $10,000 for science instructional materials, scholarships, laboratory equipment, and the music program.

Not only is Mrs. Chang President of the Brahma Boosters, but she is also an Instrumental Music Band parent volunteer, and member of Magnificent 7. Tjieu is a true Super Star! Thank you for your service to our children and our school overall. #raisingthebar
