Badminton concluded its season Saturday, May 20, 2023, with the Southern California Regional Tournament.  Players from San Diego to Fresno competed in the tournament.

Jedd Perea and Josh Wijaya finished in fourth place in Boys Doubles.

Gloria Nien and Bonnie Nien finished in third place in Girls Doubles.  What made this a bittersweet finish was the fact that in their semi-final match, Bonnie got heat stroke…which definitely played a factor in their loss.  She received medical attention, then was physically able to compete in the third place match.  She and her sister won in straight sets!

Ariel Shan and Emily Liu finished in first place in Girls Doubles.

Carina Huang finished in first place in Girls Singles.
